I like the confidence. Should be a pretty competitive game.
Virginia Tech DB Antone Exum underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL. He came out of surgery claiming the Hokies were going to beat Alabama.
Some people never learn and some are doomed before they even take the field....both apply here.
Hope he's ready to see the number 9 as he's falling to the turf.
My thoughts exactly. If we don't beat them by 21, I will be shocked. I'm thinking A&M will be our first "game" of the season.

Everett gholson was ready too
Denard Robinson as well
Alabama SHOULD win this game but still a big neutral field opener like this always makes me nervous. I think it will be competitive for a while.
A&M should be our ONLY "game" of the season.
LSU is going to take a huge step back, and Bama will be a 2-5 TD favorite over ever other opponent this year.
Maybe it was the anesthesia?

Morphine makes people say strange things. Nothing to see here.
I agree for the most part but you know LSU will have the athletes to compete. And, aside from the 2011 BCS game, Les usually has them at their best against us.
Agree LSU is always a tough regular season game. It comes at the time of year. In which both teams are pretty beat up as well.

Best game match up in CFB right now.
I know I thought I was superman yanking out ivs and all when I was on it
Me too. I think it will be competitive for about 7 minutes after the coin toss.
"Some people learn by words. Some people learn by consequences. Some people never learn."
I've dumped a lot of upvotes ITT
And here is what he will say after the game:
"Bama played well. They had a good game plan. I feel like we had a good plan too but we just didn't execute like we should have. They are good, but not as good as the score showed tonight."
CNS + 1 month or more to prepare = disaster for opponent
Not worried at all.
I think this is an example of us being blinded by history. We have to look at this year's LSU team, not the previous ones. Yes, they have competed well the last few years. But their talent level was dramatically better then. They haven't recruited as well the last few years, and now their talent and experience level has taken a huge step back with the flood of players leaving the program.
If you just go by history, Vandy should never win and the Barn should always go to a bowl. BUT when you look at what they are going to put on the field, perceptions MUST change.
LSU is going to take a big step back this year. They just don't have the horses. I count 4-5 losses on their schedule, including a blowout in T-town. JMO.
