... am I the only one who really likes that?
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
Wouldn't it be nice if more young men thought like that? Refreshing.
Best of luck to Mr. Cunningham.
"Hey, hey, hey. A life. A life, Jimmy, you know what that is? It's the shit that happens while you're waiting for moments that never come."
I like it too. I'm from just outside Nashville and I liked how he seemed to care as much about Vandy's academics as their football.
It's really hard not to root for those guys. I loved the comment about his 50 year plan.
I liked it - applauded him.
I'm sorry i'm out of the loop. What's the back story here?
yea for sure, I was typing something - saw you posted this.
great sounding kid. loved it. wish him the best.

He then said "I have no doubt Vanderbilt will win an SEC Championship in the next few years.."
That was awesome. Kid has a great attitude and I have no problem saying I am pulling for Vandy to be successful year in and year out. They can easily be the sec's Stanford and do good at both academics and football if they keep driving hard at both.
"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, nobody!"
Liked that he called it "the" Vanderbilt University.
vandy stole one from nicky satan
Well spoken kid that seems to have his priorities in the right place....
I like the way he started it,,, "Can I announce now? Can I say where I am going to school?"
Vandy has 25 commits and only 4 of them are from TN. Franklin is getting it done. You have to admire what he's doing there.
I was very impressed with him and I liked his decision as well. Wish more guys thought like him..
