Crimsonbleeder "If Trent doesn't go pro this year I will eat my car tires"
Reminds me of the saints and ricky williams. Not so smart. RTR!
If RGIII turns into the next Peyton Manning, then Washington did an excellent job. If he turns into Heath Shular, well... The problem is they have handicapped their ability to build via the draft for the next several years.
If they get a superstar QB out of the deal, it will be worth it. An elite QB is worth this cost. The team is hurt if RGIII is merely good, however.
Washington will be forced to try and build a team through free agency - something I don't trust the 'Skins to do a great job at (see Albert Hayensworth, Adam Archuleta, Jeremiah Trotter, et al). Maybe Snyder has learned from his mistakes and can turn this franchise back into one of the greats in the NFL. History indicates otherwise.

Losing doesn't make me want to quit. It makes me want to fight that much harder-Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant
Well its seems like most disagree with my post but I respect everyones opinion. But this is very friendly of course :).
I guess I could be proven wrong but I dont remember too many blockbuster deals like this one that have panned out (and I mean huge trades involving draft pics.
Is it very risky because if they are not right it is a huge step back.
Flashy offense will but people in the seats and might win you some games, but in the super bowl the better defense and running game usually prevails.
It kind of reminds me the deal the Bears made for Cutler.
After today's news that Skins are losing $36 million in cap space I now think the trade was awful.
