Bennie I'm having a little trouble making out that scoreboard could you tell me what it says?
Why I believe it says 21-17 Visitors with the win.
Good god that was the most butthurt interview I've ever seen in my life. 21-17 b*tch
By "one play" at the end of the game, did he mean a methodical drive that absolutely picked the defense apart driving the length of the field in 43 seconds. If so, I totally agree with him.
you know, kind of reminds me of last year in T-town, in reverse!
We dominated and yet took the loss.
They did not dominate from start to 58. We held our own in the 1st half. I will give them the second; - 2min
Nah, didn't think it was that bad. I mean he was right. They ran the ball down our throats. No question about it. We made Zack Mettenberger look like the best QB in the SEC. Our secondary whiffed on tackles, and they stopped our passing game cold for 3.75 quarters.
I have to give it to them, they have no reason to hang their heads low. They are a good football team.
You really dominated that 1st half when you were down 14-3 at the break...somebody can't lose like a man.
They didn't dominate, they played slightly better. AJ doesn't fumble deep in our territory and it's not a discussion.
They played well enough to get the victory but didn't finish. Suxs for them.
I can't understand him anyways.
Bottom line is BAMA did not execute on offense in the 2nd half until the last 2 minutes of the game and because of that LSU did begin to wear us down ...... KUDOS to them and KUDOS to the OFFENSE for stepping up as a group making the plays when they counted!
I for one (of many) was very dismayed at how flat we came out on offense ..... AJ was not crisp or sharp and our WR's were not beating the coverage ...... My personal thoughts were we did not attempt to establish the line of scrimmage on the first series with three straight pass plays going 0-2 on 2nd & 3 IMO was a tone setter for the LSU defense!
On Defense we were sloppy on tackling in open space and very fortunate that LSU did not blow the game open anymore than we coulda shoulda scored when AJ missed COOP and AJ didn't make the handoff to TJ ......
BOTTOM LINE BAMA FOUND A WAY TO WIN THE GAME AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES CHAMPIONS!!! RTR
Ray Charles could see had we ran the ball more we would have had 250 plus yards o the ground. Both backs had a 6yrd average. They did win the 1st 3rd and most of the fourth but that's why you play for 60mins. Our defense was gassed and they still made the play to force the fg on the next to the last drive. Their de's were none factors. I like this team. They gave me a near heart attack but they won! RTR guys
Like Coach Tony D'Amato said in the movie Any Given Sunday:
"On any given day you're gonna win or you're gonna lose. The point is, can you win or lose like a man?"

Alot of arrogance in this thread. Ya'll can downvote me, but we were a few plays away from going back to the Capital One bowl. Same posters here are probably the ones that said we could take on NFL teams.
They played a better game than us. You have to give them that. We were lucky that we put together one good drive at the end. Logan was probably just tired of all the smack talk from silly bama fans talking about we could take on the Jax Jaguars and we were unstoppable. Their defense kept us to the lowest totals of anybody else since the November 2011 game.
Just exactly what do you want us to do?
What do you want us to say? Sorry?
This was a heavyweight title bout. LSU went into the last round winning on points. Bama needed a knockout to win and we got it. I'm gracious to my competitor but in the end Bama is wearing the Championship Belt like it or not.
I think where you and I differ is that you think luck won this game. They played their best game of the year and we played poorly and still came away with the W.
Sounds like someone needs Charles Barkley to help him'' lose like a man''

Thanks for the DV. That is definitely a better approach than actually engaging in a debate when you have a difference in opinion.
We were also a couple of plays (a wide open Cooper and a fumble close to the goal) from leading them 28-10. We outplayed them last year in the regular season and lost so the only thing that matter is Ws and Ls.
