So the love of his life, his soulmate, etc., is in a car wreck and then on her death bed for several months from leukemia and he never once went to see her? Really?
its a joke man.
I know, but they apparently think everyone will buy it.
This is the most ridiculous crap I've ever watched.. How can they just pretend this was a "hoax" .. This is pathetic.. Do they think we are THAT stupid??
He just said they stopped the investigation once they got the "dimensions of this" and left it to the Te'o family.
Does that mean they haven't dug in further to check that he wasn't making it up? He basically just admitted that they really just went far enough to confirm she existed only online, and then trusted Manti's story on the rest of it.
Reporters bought the original story!!!!!!
Can I dial in and ask a question?!
I wish one of these "reporters" would ask about them saying how they spent time together and all that jazz.. This is laughable
I would also say that ND is doing everything possible here to make Manti the victim. Manti definitely lied about the relationship, through details like how they met. But ND is trying to spin this, as much as possible, as Manti being the victim, with no mention *whatsoever* to the poor choices he made in not being fully honest and forthcoming that allowed this to blow up like it did.
Finally a Fox Sports guy asks about them meeting in person.. This jack ass tried to spin it as best he could.. How pathetic..
lol i was saying that the presser was a joke not what u said. i agree with u. hehe
So I am wondering what we will read from some of these reporters...This was really bad
I can't understand why they chose to go this route. Incredibly stupid IMO.
no improper benefits violation for a university to launch an investigation to assist an athelete and his family? i mean this isnt a compliance investigation is it?
Also I think a point that is being missed here is the culpability of all the "media organizations" that ran with this story. I swear there is no profession in this country that has so much power with absolutely no regulated code of professional conduct as the 'News Media' No concept of malpractice just a loose self policing. All these human interest pieces in a Mrs. Snuffleupagus Teo but no media member has to be bothered to perform due diligence to check it out? Not until the scandel of the lie will create a bigger following. That feels like market manipulation to me. Whoever ran with this story and repeated it in the first place should have to make an accounting with their proffesional credentials on the line. Just one man's opinion.
