We know we've got five going in the first round this year. What about next year?
I am assuming:
Did I miss anyone?
"Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself." -Coach Bryant
AJ is going to be the most interesting to see in 2012. If he plays like he did in the BCSNCG then he will go first round, possibly as the #2 or #3 QB overall. If he plays like he did in the first half of the Tennessee game, then he will return for his 5th year.
For our other players, I think it's going to come down to how well we do overall as a team. If we're able to make it back to a BCS game like the Sugar Bowl, then I think several folks like Nico, CJ Mosley, Milliner, AJ, Fluker, Warmack, BJones, Jesse Williams, Square, Lester will get invites to the combine with good chances of going in the first two rounds.
We could set the record next year for most draftees in the first 2-3 rounds.
Aj is not a 1st or 2nd rd pick at qb! Pump the brakes a bit on that one.
Disagree, expect him to be a 1st round pick no doubt. Might be 2014 though. He sees the field well and can make all the throws. Very strong arm and great release. I love the way he is moving in the pocket, beating the rush and looking downfield. His main issue is deep accuracy and I think that is more just getting excited and trying to make the perfect throw.
In my opinion, he is a substantially better QB prospect than Brodie Croyle, and I think he is going to be a great one at the next level.

You must not pay to much attn to the NFL. If the likes of C. Ponder and throw it in the dirt Tebow can be drafted in the 1st round and they are saying that Tannehill will be picked early in the 1st!! AJ should be able to play his was right in the 1st easy!
Right now, there are 4 guys that appear in the first round of a lot of mock drafts: Fluker, Barrett Jones, CJ Mosley, and Dee Milliner. After seeing Jesse Williams numbers, I think as long as he has a good reason he will end uo in the first round too. Robert Lester is another guy that has a chance to be a first rounder. But I'm not sure he has the speed to do it. I've read where his biggest hang up is his speed. Warmack is projected in the 2nd round and the top guard prospect by a few guys.
I like the idea of 4 first round picks for next year. that walterfootball.com site that was mentioned had Fluker, b jones, milliner, and cj mosley going in the first round. I still think williams could easily be a first rounder. Warmack could also be a first round player.
Just checked the Walter Football Mock and I think his predictions are pretty good at this point which is more than 1 year from the draft.
I think Williams will get on the 1st Round radar as the 2012 season plays through as he was a 1st year Bama player on a stacked Bama Defense this past season. Hence, many non-Bama fans probably don't know his talent.
The 2013 WalterFootball Mock has more than 1/2 of the 1st Rounders from the SEC.
Okay, so you want to make a bet that AJ will be a 1st rd pick next April??
Amazing how we could potentially have another 3 or 4 guys going in the 1st round next year. That in itself is a recruiting magnet. It's going to be interesting to see how many 1st round draft picks were on that 2009 squad.
