I am sitting in the Museum of Natural Science in Houston, TX wearing my Bama gear as always, and a woman walks up to my wife and I and gives us a big "Roll Tide!"
I swear, everywhere I go, I'm bound to run into another Bama fan. Anyone with similar experiences?

I got a "roll tide" while I was kicked back at the pool at the Playboy Mansion because I had a houndstooth koozie. Never knew self-absorbed LA women followed college football closely enough to recognize houndstooth until then.

A couple of years ago, in Seattle, WA, getting ready to go on an Alaskan cruise...stepped outside of the hotel lobby and greeted with a big "Roll Tide". Also, on our cruise, there were at least a dozen other Bama fans...

In 96 I was walking in downtown Hat Yai Thailand, with a Bama hat on and a young Thai girl with a Bama shirt on yelled ROLL TIDE...stopped her and found out she was an exchange student who had attended Bama for a couple yrs and had fell in love with Bama football.

How long ago was this? The owner is a friend of the family, and became a Bama fan when I went to school there.
Saw a local wearing a leather Bama jacket while in El Paso a couple weeks ago. Gave him a Roll Tide in passing, and he was pretty excited.
I saw a guy in a Bama XXL windsuit, but i just turned around and went the other way.
Was wearing a Bama shirt and driving here in Houston. Got pulled over...cop saw my shirt, said "Roll Tide and please slow down just a bit...Have a nice day"
I've exchanged "Roll Tide" greetings in Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, and Yellowstone National Park.
I was at the Honda Classic Thursday and Sunday. Saw about 5 people each day wearing Bama gear. Gave each one a big Roll Tide. We were represented well by the players too. Dickey Pride wore a Bama belt both days I saw him.
There were HUNDREDS of Bama fans in New Orleans Saturday for the Rock and Roll Marathon. They were everywhere, both in the race and cheering from the streets. Saw more Bama people than LSU people and I'm not kidding.
My son is in the USAF and based at Hickam in Hawaii. He called me after the BCS game this year and said he had went into a store before the game and the store's clerk, an islander, had a Bama shirt on. Roll Tides were exchanged!

I was down there the second week of January and the place was literally crawling with Bama fans. They were EVERYWHERE.

My son lives in New Haven, CT and is a teacher up there. He's converted about 90 8th graders to Bama up there. He also has gotten a couple of Roll Tides up there as well.
I got a big "ROLL TIDE, my son" from St Peter when I had a near-life experience.
