NIT or CBI? :)
In. I think so too!
I hope you're right. Long way to go with zero margin for error.
Need to play really well
SEC will be lucky to get more than 3-4 teams in. This is probably the worst the conference has ever been as a whole.
Neither, NCAAs! RTR!!!
Still a lot to be played but if what the say was true and we were on the bubble before last night's game, we are certainly in today.
The Dynasty is Here!
I don't think so. Margin of victory won't matter at all IMO. Lets see, we're 12-6 (4-1) now with 13 left. I think if we finish 22-9 (14-4), we are in as long as the losses aren't to a team in the bottom of the league. Extremely soft bubble this year, at least it appears like it now. I think if we finish with 20/21 wins, then we need two wins in the conference tourney.
Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.
And UK isn't close to horrible, lol. No, they're not anywhere where they've been in the last two years, but come march ill be surprised of they're not one of the top 30-35 teams in the country.
I see what you are saying but margin of victory and winning in an impressive fashion always matters to the selection committee. Struggling to beat average teams when you are on the bubble and being compared to other bubble teams that don't have losses to teams like Mercer, Tulane and Dayton makes a huge difference. Larger margins of victory help Alabama pass the eye test come selection Sunday.
Also, IMHO, 22 wins will not get us in the tournament unless in those 22 wins we beat Mississippi and Florida. Beating the rest of the bums in this conference is not going to help our RPI. We need to win those two games, reach at least the semi finals of the SEC tournament, can not lose to the bottom feeders like LSU or uga, and some of our non conference opponents improve their record. Villanova's victory last night was huge for us. But even if all of those things happen, we are still going to be on the bubble.
I absolutely agree!
Not a chance in hell...
Maybe the NIT
Pray for Tuscaloosa and Roll Tide!
see ya in a month in a half. I'll be the first to eat my crow if we don't make it, but there is no way in hell.
dude we were out scored by Auburn 25-3 at 1 point in the second half that is absolutely embarrassing. I watched all night we have 3 guys that stand around the perimeter nobody makes any cuts what do the shot clock gets down to 5 seconds and then force a horrible shot it makes me sick in my stomach to watch us play I think we finish the season 18-13 or somewhere in that range it's sad

A dorm room poker tourney while watching march madness on tv?
I'd downvote myself if I could. I was flat wrong. Losing to that Auburn team was inexcusable.
