I don't get to watch the games where I live.
What do you feel is our biggest problem? The coach? The players?
I just don't understand this anymore.
He needs to change his handling of some players and also change is offensive philosophy. In my opinion the crappy attitude shown by players and the lack of offensive production falls on one guy and that is Grant.
Do what Horn did tonight: Tell his kids to go out on the court, shoot the ball, and have fun.
South Carolina, even though they shot bad, played with energy and looked like they wanted to be on the court. Ours looked like they were about to get a prostate exam from Wolverine.
Selfish players are hard to win with. What he needs to do is cut ties with the selfish ones. Sit them, cut them, whatever it takes to send a message.
Also, as far as X's and O's go, we've GOT to figure out something offensively. I don't know if it's the "selfish" players just holding us back, or if it's something else, but this isn't the same offense that we saw from him at VCU.
call Kevin Elko!
I agree but I'm not sure that would help at this point.
Coach Grant made a mistake allowing Mitchell and Green to get this far in to the season with their bad attitudes. In my opinion we are past the point of no return in regards to chemistry, passion for the game and willingness to do what CG is begging them to do.
