With the dominate runing backs that we have had over the years including:
1)Mark Ingram Heisman Trophy winner
2)Trent Richardson- freaking stud, who will only get better in the NFL
3) Eddie Lacy who had some injury problems, and should be a 1st or second round pic, and a freak of nature who had injury problems
And the running backs of the future, including Fowler, who has not even been able to make a snap, and last, but not least, TJ Yeldon, who was near god like.
Considering lacy, Yeldon, both had 150, roughly a piece.
What needs to transpire to call ourselves: Running Back U?
Sorry for grammar errors

I love dominate tuning backs. Tuning back U. IMO.
Nothing, we already are!
No offense, but it kind of sounds Barn-ish. I think we should stick to title town or something like that. I agree though. We have had some great RBS. Plus 1.
I was talking about how PSU, before the mess that they self appointed themselves as: Linebacker U
And not to sound Barnish because we buil a dynasty on our ability to recruit RB's that they could only dream of
Ask the top kids around the nation where Running Back U is right now and I bet 90% say Bama. Next year we won't have a flashy name to pro but within 3 years we could have another few first rounders (Yeldon leaves after 3 and is a first round pick, Drake could also leave as a Junior and be 1st/2nd with Henry and Tyren leaving the year after challening for 1st a piece). I really hope nudie stays 2 more years (using his medical) to usher in our new QB and open lanes for the young guns bc they'll carry the load for Sims/Morris/Bateman in 2014
You'll never achieve great things until you believe that's what's supposed to happen
That is true and self-evident. I think just saying Alabama, Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, etc., summons the imagery of an amazing running back.
And LBU and OLU....we bad to the bone. With Black and Cooper, we will turn into WRU thanks to Julio making the path brighter.
This is JMO. I think we will have more traction with more professional potential realization. Coffee didn't do much. Ingram seems under utilized but also underperforming ( came on late). Trent is prob above a target for Rookie. We need a Shaun Alexander season from 2 of the 3 soon, then Yeldon to do similar. I look back at Miami. Their mystique came from following CFB dominance ( we've got the) with 1st round picks ( working on that) and Pro Bowls /All Pros / Playoff performances / players of the games. I'd add in for today's world being Fantasy points leader(s).
Edit: I'd like to be known as Title U.

Why limit it to RBU? Why not QBU? (Wilson, McElroy and McCarron) Or OLU? (Don't feel like naming them all) Or LBU? (etc.) Or DBU? (etc.) Or WRU? (Julio, Cooper etc.) DLU (Darius, Williams, etc.). Alabama is Everything U.
Brilliant. Upvote for succinctness.

"Let's not just talk about championships, Aight .. Let's go do what we gotta do to be champions. Aight"
We'll need about 4 more Hypesman trophies to catch SC and steal that title.
