I just got 2 tickets! Great, right??
Well I have 13 & 11 year old daughters that are huge fans - watch every second of every game, live here in TN and wear their crimson proud and take heat for it but don't care. They tweet some of the players, Kenny bell, drake, Aj (class guys btw) etc.....
So how do I pick who goes???
I need another. Or 2 (for wifey)
Either one you choose you cant win. Let them decide and see how that turns out. My 11 & 12 year olds would put on quite a show trying to choose.
Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
Sell em to me problem solved.
How responsible are they? I have an 11 year old that I would let go to the game by himself or with a friend/ daughter. You could be the best dad ever and watch it at Stats while your kids watch Bama dominate and meet them after. Talk about serious dad points. They would do anything for you!
Paper rock scissors this thing IMO. Best of 15. And film it so we can see.

Take 1 to the SECCG and one to the bowl game. The SECCG is the Natti IMO, and we might not win. Then let them choose. If you can't also go to the bowl, then put them in a room and let them fight for it. Winner goes.
Tell them there are two options:
1- Sell the tickets because you only have two. Ask them do they want you to sell the tickets, or will they both be ok with only one of them going.
2- Take one of them, THIS time. The next BIG game will be with the other daughter.
*If they opt for one of them to go, decide by drawing a name, or drawing straws, etc…
*Make sure you bring the one that doesn't get to go a shirt, etc…
*Is there some at home activity that the daughter who doesn't get to go, can have? A Bama party with Mom and friends?? They can think of all the foods that are red and white to serve. (example, red & white M&Ms., peppermints, Bama cupcakes…)
So glad they both love Alabama.
Don't know how tight money is for you either currently or in the near future, but I would either fork out the dough for another 2 tickets and take the wife, too, and each sit with one daughter OR take the oldest to this game and make a blood vow with the youngest that you will take her by herself to a big game next year (LSU @ home, Iron Bowl @ AU, etc.).
Don't have kids, but this I agree with this. Or better yet, I have to think we'll be back in the SEC Championship within 2 years. Take the youngest daughter to the next SEC Championship.
easy.... sell the tickets, go to atlanta and party like rock stars while we kick the dog crap out of them. Then come up with some real money and everyone off to Miami for a irish but kicking
Make your wife pick who goes. That is like chapter one in the cool Dad 101, ALWAYS find a way to make the wife the bad guy.
I've been thinking the same things, rock paper scissors, sell them, go to Atlanta and try to get 1 or 2 down there... Trade up...
BUT, they don't even know it yet, still in school, I'm scrambling like crazy trying to come up with solution of more tix before this afternoon....
Take your wife.
They may be upset at first, but it is fair and you will be setting an example to your daughters for the future that you love/value your wife and that she comes first. It may lead to some griping now, but this type of example throughout their teenage years may lead them to not date douchebag losers (which a lot of girls seem to do). JMHO.
My wife is an Ole Miss fan....
Good luck with that decision.

You are screwed.
So she doesn't like football...got it
Junior are you in Memphis? Lot of the Ole Miss thing going on over there. I'm in TN too (KnoxVile) and wanted to take my older daughter (14) who loves Bama but we only have two tix as well. Going with my Dad (Bama alum 63' and reason I'm a Bama fan......brainwashing is a powerful thing)
Thought about trading our two good seats for three crappy ones but its too late for that now. So if you see a middle aged guy there with a silver haired gent decked out in Crimson its probably us..............or several 1000 of our closes friends!
Listen...if you take one over the other..one will hate you for life...HOWEVER....take me with you...and they will both be pissed for the weekend, but I'll buy lunch :) and buy them a Bama gift or two :)
Then they will love you for thinking about them while at the game...problem solved.
I wouldn't take either of them tbh. It could create a serious problem if just one is left out. Take your wife whether she likes it or not...

Agreed, if he takes one of them over the other, it is going to create some serious thoughts of favoritism for the other. I'd just take a friend, take your wife, or give them to your daughters to go while you walk them to the gate and meet them after (if you trust them...though I probably wouldn't do this).
