The cameras saw him yelling while being interviewed by the Florida radio guy... after halftime he said he had no comment. Maybe it was discussed, but there has to be a clip of it somewhere out there.
I was wondering the same thing.
They played the clip on Jox yesterday. He was yelling "we have to overcome the adversity on the field"! It was very out of place and WWF-ish. Sounded like halfway through the interview he forgot that he was supposed to be yelling.
I go the feeling he was still mad about the "roughing the snapper" and "targeting" penalties back to back when Carolina scored. One was definitely chippy so probably had a beef but he knows talikng about officials is a no-no so he backed off
There were some horrible calls against Florida in the first half. Although he could have been pissed about the fact his O had 29 yd at the half.
He's a complete headcase.
No, he's a young and inexperienced coach...and a damn good one. Not sure where he's the biggest threat, UF or Tehas.
"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
Lol i kno what u mean becaus it does nnot take that much screaming n yelling to get ur point across to 19-20yr olds.. th guy is literally al-ways livid..

Well, if Musthechamp is knot care full, he may bust a gas kit or pop a her knee a. I feel for tha guy, don't you? I would
recommend a Zan axe or three for him......
Subtlety works better with these jokes.
You have to remember the audience. I was listening on Sirius at the time. It was the Florida radio network; Muschamp was playing to his audience, getting fired up. The Florida radio crew loved it, and I imagine the Florida fans did too. No big deal here. Florida is playing well, they are improving every week, and there's lots of excitement. Muschamp's style might not be our style, but he was just playing to his crowd and they loved it.
I think you meant suttle tea.
Remind me who our head coach is again? Not sure if you were being funny or what but CNS yells with the best of them over small stuff (rightfully so). I can tell he is building a program that will compete with us in the near future for the SECC on a regular basis.
haha that was awesome. I'm a big fan of Muschamp.
That guy is as funny as Lester...heh heh. He's like a little munchkin cartoon character. I don't know how anyone takes him seriously...
1960 Les Paul
Because starting with the aTm game five weeks ago, his team has gotten better and better, and against solid teams. You may not like his style, but people that don't take him seriously do so at their own peril.
Rate him based on this scale.
This is the home of the world famous Muschamp Intensity Meter. Coach Will Muschamp is an amazing head football coach. Feel free to levitate while reading this post.
He is too emotional and his team will feed off that, it will always cost them a game or two. They will play above their heads a game or two then hit a brick wall the next when they need to be steady
you said it, man. That's my fear if I'm a Florida fan...
Well I don't really have a problem with it but what is he talking about overcoming adversity at halftime? UF went up 21-3 even though South Carolina was actually moving the ball a lot better than they were but they fumbled three times deep in their own territory.
That's like the opposite of adversity. I would have said we need to realize that we may be faced with more adversity and not get as many lucky breaks in the second half.
I honestly wouldn't mind him taking Saban's place if/when he retires. This might be thinking too far into the future, but I wouldn't doubt Saban highly recommending him. He obviously didn't mind that fire and intensity when he had him as his defensive coordinator at Lswho.
Nah i wasnt joking.. dude our coach yells very often.. Muschump screams constantly, literally. seems hes tryin too hard to be saban to me.. its gona take more than jus lookin th part real good... and im def not sure how near he is to them bein back so much just yet either.. that will be seen in Dec in Atl.. it will be a beat down. jus waatch
I don't think any one actually thinks UF will win the SEC Championship this year. But getting their in his 2nd year when the East has 3 pretty solid teams. Is a pretty good accomplishment for a young 2nd yr. coach imho. He keeps recruiting well. & this team is gonna be much tougher than Urbans teams in the future.
New Member of The 247 Crew!
He's 41 years old and has been DC at Auburn, LSU, Texas and was HCIW at Texas. He's no more "inexperienced" than Kirby (in fact, he's 4 years older than Kirby) but I wouldn't expect Smart to go off on maniacal tirades in front of the media and his players when he becomes a head coach.
I think Muschamp is a really good coach who knows his stuff, but as others have pointed out, his intensity needs to be reined in or else it will be to the detriment of his team. You have to be able to channel that, and maybe he does behind closed doors, but it doesn't appear that he is able to dial back his emotions at critical times.
Don't get me wrong - you don't want a wet towel like Gene Chizik either, but you have to use discretion. He seems like he's about 5 seconds away from full meltdown at all times.
