Who would be the right person to replace him?

Pray for Tuscaloosa and Roll Tide!
Probably someone we haven't even thought of because it's gonna be 6-10 years B4 it's even an issue
I know some will disagree but I say Kirby. I think he'd be ready and be as close to Saban himself as we'd find. Kirby is more mild mannered, or so it seems, but we already know he knows Coach's complex defensive schemes and can recruit lights out. I think he'd also follow Coach's plan for player development, academic and character support, and mental toughness. I also think he'd run a clean program and continue to build respect for the program and the university nationally.
I agree about Kirby but if he somehow winds up at Georgia first, he could build a hell of a juggernaut there. Could be hard to pull him away at that point but who knows we've pulled coaches away from the nfl before
Les Miles As goofy as he is, he still has not messed up what Saban built and its been what? 8 yrs?
Jim harbough. He is about the only one worthy right now. Seriously though Kirby is gone after this year. So it will be someone with experience in handling a program and winning.
We are not going to let him retire.
No flame, but we hear that every year.
We will know in about 10 yrs.
We will have a time where we don't know, unless...he moves from HC to AD.
well, who knows who'll be ready in 15-25 years???? I mean that's a LONG LONG time...
1960 Les Paul
why ask that question ...CNS is only 60....Bryant coached until he was 69...people were not asking that question when he was 60.....look what bryant did the last 12 years.....leave it alone ...enjoy...RTR
Kirby isn't going to leave unless its a top job. All SEC jobs are not Top jobs.
I have no reason to believe anyone other than CKS. Why wouldnt he be the one?
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
But depending on Kirby's success elsewhere, and I think he will be very successful, he could always come back by the time CNS retires.
