Just finished watching both replays--and I went to both games. I was thinking about standing in line in New Orleans and Miami before kick off. I felt best about beating LSU... I was in Tuscaloosa for the loss that year and I knew..if we got them again we would kick their ass..
For me Notre Dame was still a question... what say you guys?
Losing doesn't make me want to quit. It makes me want to fight that much harder-Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant
I felt early in the year that they were a pretty good team. They played a lot like us... physical up front, tackled well, etc.. but we were way more talented. LSU was close to us in talent... ND wasnt at all. Everyone knew it.
KNEW we'd win by 3+ TD's for ND...
THOUGHT we'd win by 2+ TD's against LSU in 2011-12...but still was pretty confident given all the missed opportunities we had (and bad refereeing) from the regular season game...

You cant beat a team like Alabama head to head with inferior talent. You have to win those battles in the trenches. Teams that have success vs us are either as talented... or have a lucky heisman qb.
Went to both. not nervous before ND.
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
I admit I am always worried about LSU. They always play Alabama tough (minus the BSC game)
I honestly had no doubts in my mind about either one. I actually got into several heated (for lack of a better word noone was angry) discussions about how we were going to win both those games. I will say I thought the LSU game was going to be closer. I thought we would pull away in the 4th and win by 17. NEVER expected a shut out, or that level of domination. Thought we'd score more touchdowns though.
Notre Dame was different. I was telling people they were going to turn it off before halftime. I said "You'll know its over after our first drive. You'll think, 'Well maybe ND still a chance' But deep down you'll know it." I predicted 45-10.
Nd by a long shot. Felt we would win both but with the game being in LA and them having won earlier it was a little more up in the air. I didn't think nd had a snowballs chance in hell in that game going in.
ND, I remember a ND talking trash to me before that game. I told him I'd be stunned if the score wasn't 21-0 by the end of of the first quarter. Still pissed I was so far off on that prediction.
Mine was LSU, I knew we were gonna beat that ass because I got to watch the guys practice a few times and after every rep the yelled who do we want!? LSU!!
ND I was slightly nervous but knew we'd win!

I predicted we would beat Notre Dame by 4 TDs, so the answer is obviously Notre Dame.
I knew it wouldn't be close. I was relaxed and easy going that entire day!
i was a bit worried ab lsu but knew it would be tough for them to beat us twice.......i started to buy the media hype ab ND until i went and watched all their games and then i knew it was just that....hype
Roll Tide to Her
I wasn't nervous AT ALL for ND. A team that should have lost to freaking Pittsburgh with a Freshman QB struck no fear in this Bama fan...or the team, as we all saw by the end of the 1st quarter.
There was absolutely no doubt in my minstrel that we were going to destroy ND. I mean none.
LSU on the other hand was a different story.
I felt pretty sure but I had no idea it would be the domination it ended up being.
Great idea by the way, thanks for asking.
Entirely more nervous about lswho than ND

Felt confident about both but I knew we were going to stomp a mud hole in ND's @ss. I was less worried about ND than I was about the Miss State game last year.
This...the more you looked at their resume....the clearer it became.
LSU was going to be a tricky one....can't say I expected us to dominate them like that the entire game. I was at that game and it almost had that "here we go again" feel when we kept attempting fg's in the first quarter. Glad we made some in that game....
I was confident about ND heading into the game but I had no doubt after they watched us walk out of the tunnel.
