Follow me on twitter, @BSCTIDE. Let's tweet.
1. His show sucks.
Finebaum has created this mess.
Until he's back on the air, the schedules for both stations are in constant shuffle.
Just weird is all.
I actually enjoyed both Maxs show and the round table. Not a fan of 97.3 s replacement crew today.

I'm just happy that I will have the roundtable to listen to in the 2-6 time slot this fall. Finebaum's stick of a show got old for me a long time ago.
I think the state's average IQ jumped at least 15 to 20 points without finebaum. Idiocracy is creeping towards an all time low.

The fourth quarter is terrible. If I have to hear Max Howell say "Awbun" one more time I'm going to punch out my driver's side window.
Amen. Max sounds like a slightly more sober Pat Dye, but with a constant sinus infection. Brutal.
Guy is tolerable to listen to re: football. Had occasional good insight. But hearing him discuss other sports was awful.
I listen to 97.3 in the AM but revert back to JOX for remainder of day.
Didn't Max used to be on wnsp in Mobile? That station is the worst imo.
Only because I dont know the reason why Paul is mentioned here, I ask what is the reason that Paul would have anything to do with Max. Thanks for any interpretation, much appreciated.
I dont know much about Max, I just know that it would appear that he's well respected in the business (on the outside looking in). I don't know, I know his voice because its very easy to pick up but I don't know much else. I dont listen much to anything on the radio anymore from 10-2pm.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
exactly what I do...I really enjoy Scott and Kevin. But the RT is the best show on the radio---still.

If Finebaum is taking over slot, why don't they move Max back and dump the Rick & Bubba sports show. That is awful.
I certainly hope its because Finebaum is returning. JOX is hard to listen to these days.
Finebaums noncompete period expires later in April. Common assumption is that he'll take the afternoon slot for 97.3 soon there after
Max Howell sounds like just about every counter-clerk at bait & tackle gas stations in rural Alabama.
I am with you for the Opening Drive. Horrible radio IMO.
But after that it is fine on Jox. The RT is excellent IMO and I will listen to them over Finebaum, even though I do like parts of Finebaum. So I don't know what your complaint is about that part of Jox, unless you just love the freak show that is Finebaum when he goes to the phone for long stretches.
And then the mid-day show, IMO has got a lot better. I listen to it and like others at the begining it wasn't great. But they are finding their voices and IMO have done a pretty good job. They make me laugh and make me think. Some stuff is not my cup of tea but most of it is. If you are going simply off listening during their 1st week, I would suggest giving it another try for a week.
As always thank you to my personal down vote ninja who follows me around because of a freaking disagreement we had on here.
Thank you buddy. And don't worry I noticed the one that you didn't like when I posted a picture in the Dufner thread either.
You are going to show me with these down votes.
Max is older than Jesus. Could be health issues.

Nah, Tim Melton, the co-host of sorts also resigned, so Paul is clearly on the way. Listening to guys like Coulter and Scarbinsky trying to deflect is pretty comical at times. Everyone knows what's up.
Well, in that case why not ride it out until Paul does return, instead of resigning and sitting at home with no pay?
