I've heard from a ND player that the two teams were scheduled to walk out to the field at the same time. Anybody know what happened?
Mal Moore: "You changed my life when you came here." Saban:"No, Mal, you changed my life. I’m a better coach. I’m a better person"
They used the same tunnel to enter the field. Bama came out first, The Irish watched us run through the tunnel. No real story here. ESPN showed it on tv.
"Sorry it took me so long to answer. I was just thinking about how weird it is that we eat birds." - Tracy Jordan

So they could pee their pants in private.
Eddie George said on the radio that ND lost the game in the tunnel. He could tell by their body language that they realized then they had no shot.
Poor bastards getting off the bus in Tuscaloosa will probably feel like those dumped on Omaha Beach - Unknown Vol's fan
There may be some truth to that but this wasn't the first time they were seeing us. Everyone was already out warming up pregame before going back in. That, to me at least would make more sense if it were the first time seeing each other. Maybe some were thrown off by the confidence BAMA exuded?
Still sounds good and now knowing how it played out!
If you noticed they put Tuitt and Nix in front and I assumed this was so our guys would see their big guys as if it were to scare our team.
Was reported on one of the follow up shows that the Bama intro took a little longer than expected so Bama's team was delayed waiting for it to finish before taking the field. I personally think it would have been a hoot, if one of the last of the Bama team would have poked a hole in that ridiculous, plastic air-filled orange..so it would have fallen on the NDs.

From what I have read, it is a ND tradition to stared down their opponent in the tunnel when playing at home. Since they were the home team in the NC, they continued the tradition. Obviously it backfire. They might want to stop it from here on out.
I was surprised that they came out on the field at all. RTR! :)
Just for a point af reference here is video with the sounds. Can anyone tell what Notre Dame was chanting?
After being intimidated by AL, they were all saying "Ohhhhh Hellllll!'
