you bring your cowbell, I'll bring my air horn.
Something smells bad on the plains.
Won't be there but I hope they don't. It's one of those football traditions, that should be allowed. It's not like there's gonna be half a stadium of them. That said I don't like the air horn idea simply because it can hurt someone's ears. Some drunk as$-hat could blow that right in someone's ear & that's no bueno. The cowbells while annoying are pretty harmless.
Just my worthless opinion.
Have to disagree here. I guess technically it is a tradition but it is more of a dumbass redneck thing plus it is a gigantic fvcking annoyance and makes people look as if they have a severe mental deficiency of a particular nature when they ring those things.
We are talking about a Mississippi institute of higher learning are we not? Thought so.(G)
It's their thing, redneck or not it's pretty harmless & I noted they were an annoyance but these little "things" that all the different teams do are the reasons why I love college football so much.
Again just my useless opinion.....
Agreed. Makes college football awesome IMO. I just don't want them in our stadium because they don't make a difference in BDS. There simply aren't enough of them, that's why it is an annoyance. In starkville I am fine with it. Everyone has one and it does make a difference there.
Not even sure that you would be able to hear them over our crowd at BDS.
+1 for civil debate on differing opinions. I personally think its no big deal, but I'm just an ole county boy who believes if it ain't hurtin nobody let them have there lil toys.
