Rock n roll sushi in the mall is pretty awesome as well.
I would love to get Gambinos back as well. Until then , that new Italian joint on fairhope ave ain't bad. Amen on wintzell's. If you go, order beer or raw oysters. Everything else sucks. For that money, you might as well hit up something on the causeway. God bless master joes for being a damn fine sushi place. It has filled a huge void as far as fairhope dining is concerned.
Pinzone's downtown. Opened by the Papa's Pizza guy I think.
I'm not a big Winztell's fan either. Actually Bluegill has some pretty good oysters. The flaming oysters there are pretty good. As far as seafood, Ed's, Felix's, and Oyster House are pretty good. If I'm looking for fried I'll just swing by Market by the Bay. Master Joe's is an awesome sushi restaurant. One of the best around.

I just hope they get the word out they are truly back. That place has been so many things since the Gambinos stopped running it I fear people will be skeptical.

So between finding Gambino's Italian Grill on facebook and seeing in the paper that Rick applied for a liquor license, I'd say it's a done deal. Original Gambino's is coming back.
