Count me as one that would not. Looking back at the kids actions he was as far from committed as the word entails. Sure he is a 18 year old kid having fun, but his actions to UA have been a slap in the face. He has known for months that he was going to AU, and purposely deterred recruits like Scarborough from Alabama, a school he claimed to be committed to. Why would he take Bo to UGA, when he knew he wasn't going there? Even if he didn't know the speech was prepared, the fact that he wasn't even respectful enough to prepare his own statement about his "respect" for UA speaks volumes about him. I'm not throwing the kid under the bus, and this isn't sour grapes. But he was never committed to Alabama, and it's very obvious.
Yes. Kid is extremely talented. I'd take him back in a heartbeat
I leave that to Coach Saban & that's why I don't post my opinion until after they sign.
Signed Letter of Intent yes
Yes, of course we would.
And simply saying out loud "This isn't sour grapes" doesn't change the fact that they are very sour grapes.
Does anyone agree that he has been disrespectful to UA and their coaching staff, at the very least?
Perfectly said. Truth be told, everyone would be glad to see him in Crimson, knocking heads. I don't see any, man it just makes my skin crawl to see B Calloway on the field posts. All I see is, boy I hope he is our next great H-back. Well, maybe he is a little easier to cut off of your PS3/360 roster, but in real life, water under the bridge.

I would in a second. He's got the potential to be a great one. But, honestly it's going to be just as fun watching him get bulldozered by a bama back over the next few years. At least for me it will be. I felt the same way about Cyrus. It's all good until you sign those papers. When that happens it's on
no chance. we are fine at LB. kids like that wont survive under Saban (Duron Carter anyone?) so why waste a scholly?
not to mention he disrespected our staff by copying the Yeldon statement and situation. I am done with him.
I thought RN was bad but that is nothing compared to this mess.
Absolutely not! His statement was a mockery and he can take that and himself to AU. I would rather beat him than have him.
Agree! Pretty sure it went down like this...
Trooper " come on dawg, you gotta do this and it would be funny as hell. It would like be off the chain dawg. You gotta read this bra and show dem fools you your own man. You got dis shi+ dawg, just put them Bama boys in their face and hit this statement. Doooood, it's gonna be epic"
RF reply " um ok, what's this saying again? Oh ok, yea I'll do it. Saban disrespect me and make me decide and stop playing games than I'll show him"
Sound about right?
Yes, assuming CNS approves, because:
a) He's damn good,
b) it would show once again that our staff isn't a bunch of childish clowns, unlike another staff in the state of AL,
c) it would F over the barn big-time
Yes, without question. He's s phenomenal talent. And I can't even begin to imagine how bad auburn would be pissed. It would make it seem as if CNS set them up again. I would love to see it.
If saban would I can't see why any fan wouldn't other than they are an idiot.
lean towards no. and i say that without any emotion. only because it appears he's been completely dishonest with our coaches. i would say yes if the auburn coaches were manipulative and foster just got caught up in it. i'd probably still even take nkemdiche. if he chose bama without any of his teammates and apologized for his behavior, that'd be all it took. i will always forgive a kid. emotionally, no i don't want either. but you have to remember they're immature and have been raised into the situation they're in. it's not an excuse, but some kids just don't get it (yet).
SinCity, do you feel that Foster disrespected UA coaching staff with some level of intent? I just don't see how he did all of these things by coincidence without intent.
He's a teenager and they make mistakes. He decided he wanted to correct his mistake I'd take him back in a second.
A mistake is a mistake, but where do you draw the line between a mistake and blatant disrespect?
If you truly hate Auburn -- and I truly loathe them with every ounce of my being -- then your answer to this question is an unqualified YES if only for the emotional pain and overall butthurt it would inflict on the Fambly.
15 National Championships, 23 SEC Championships, NCAA Record 60 Postseason Bowl Appearances, NCAA Record 35 Bowl Victories
Yes you are and yes it is. To answer your question, sure I would. None of us here really knows what went down. How the young man was used, and for us to act shocked Auburn would use him to fire a shot at us, lol what do you expect. They hate us as much as we hate them. We have flipped our share from them. So what, they won this battle. As long as we win on the field I can live with these things. They are going to happen. RTR
I'm not flaming anyone, but if this kid ends up at Bama and has a moment where he makes a game saving sack...all that bs from yesterday would be forgotten quicker than Pat Dye going through a bottle of whiskey.
I would take it simply to piss of the boogers
