That's not a foul.
"Hey, hey, hey. A life. A life, Jimmy, you know what that is? It's the shit that happens while you're waiting for moments that never come."
Please explain how it's not a foul?
Im glad ur not a ref..
He imitated the contact. If you want that to be a foul, go watch the NBA.
Yes please explain.
Actually I am a basketball ref and any ref and anyone who actually knows basketball and isn't being a homer knows that is not a foul.
I bet you're one of those who believes they shouldn't call fouls down the stretch. Game should be officiated consistently irrespective of time remaining. That was a foul throughout the game. Inconsistent officiating, and that's all there is to it. With that said, we never should have allowed it to come down to that. No reason Gueye shouldn't have been in with 4 fouls under 3 minutes. Poor coaching to take him out and allow Stokes to get 40 rebounds.
Wrong. Defenders momentum carried him toward the shooter. Lacy drew the contact. That's a foul everytime.
Hahahaha can u be this stupid? He got him in the air and went straight up and he was all over him. Foul 100% of the time...if it happened to us i would have said we got away with one.
If Stokes had stood his ground or jump straight up you would be correct, but he left his feet and jumped toward Lacey therefore it was a foul that was missed. At the minimum Bama would be in the OT right now more than likely.
This is just uninformed. The defender didn't go straight up. Nothing close to it. Sure Lacey initiated the contact, but that doesn't govern the ruling. If you officiate at any level beyond middle school and you honestly believe that, you're not a very good official. JMHO
Where we got screwed is paying $2 million for a coach that is in way over his head................
This is a very very very bad Tennessee team. The game should not even had been in question.
We have a classy coach for sure ----- but his coaching skill level is High School at best. Its tough to face - but it is true.
Hard for me to bitch about a non call when this team continuesly can't score for minutes, and can't make free throws.
Definitely a foul. Poor execution but it was a foul at any other point in the game. I hate how the game changes under 10seconds. Do refs not realize that players miss free throws so you are not deciding the game by calling a foul?
That was a foul. However i dont agree with putting the game in the refs hand to end it. After seeing your name and reading your comment, im convinced you were probably not cheering for us to win. Its easier for people like you if we lose. typical
Go rewatch the play. When contact was imitated, the Tennessee defender was already on his downward momentum and then completed a SYG defense.
He's the same guy who beat Coach K in the tournament with VCU.
Lol! Even the Tennessee fans think it was a foul. So tell me..if i drove to the basket and you jumped up in the air and i ran into you would you call a charge?
The defender's feet were not set. It was a foul.
