Jim Harbaugh would be the ONE.
If Auburn is looking to make a change after the season and im not saying we should or we shouldnt. I personally like CGC and know alot of the assistants personally. They are all great guys who do a great job on the recruiting trail. We definitely have not translated that into Wins on the Football Field recently and i dont understand some reasons but when you completely change offensive schemes that you recruited these players to run it will take some time. Now if we do make a change then there is only 1 person we should go after and thats Jim Harbaugh. The powers that be at Auburn will have to relinquish full control of the football program to him and thats the 1 thing they are not wanting to do. Too many people want their input and want to be heard. If we are ever going to counteract Saban at Bama then we have to go after Jim Harbaugh and give him full control of the program and open up the checkbook and pay him what he needs to come. IF it takes 5 or 6 million a year to get him then we need to pay it. In the long run that will look like chump change for what he would do. ALabama almost quadrupled their athletic income in 4 years with Saban. They went from 30 something million a year to making 120 million a year. It will pay for itself in 3 years. He is the man who will have the defense where it needs to be and he will be able to recruit nationally. He will have instant credibility for what he has accomplished in college and the NFL. He is a perfict fit for the SEC with his style of coaching on defense and offense. 4--3 defense with multiple fronts and looks as well as his Pro Style Offense. IF we make a change there is only one man we need to target and that is Jim Harbaugh. Saban told bama no atleast three times. They would not take no for an aanswer and neither should we. No matter what it takes to get him we need to pay it. I know he will want full control of the football program and we will have to give it to him as well as a huge salary. JIm is a college coach deep down and he wants to return to college and would love a opportunity to do it in the best conference in the world the SEC. No excuses Jay Jacobs. If you decide to make a change then there is only one man who will get us to the level where we want to be and to the level to counteract Nick Saban and thats Jim Harbaugh.
That's gotta be a bama troll over there writing this. Great work
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
why not just go after Bill Belicheck?
I thought Chuck Knoll was the leading candidate?
The person just kept writing the same thing over & over.
Yeah and I hear Shaun Peyton isnt returning to the saints after his suspension so he can be the offensive coordinator.
