Is Clint Mosely 2.0.
That is all.
He will shat his pants when he sees the USCe pass rush coming at him this week. Kid has ZERO poise/pocket presence!
But, but, he is gonna be the greatest qb ever and help lswho win a championship. Lol whatever. I dont care if the kid can hit targets at camp wout a pass rush, he would b 3rd or 4th string at most programs.
And he returns next year too.
Clowney is gonna roll him up next week. That O-line is no bueno.
I believe Zack is almost spencer pennington, brandon avilos level.
He hasn't put it all together that's for sure. Has a cannon for an arm but hasn't shown the ability to play smart. Physically he's good. QB is such a mental game though. Rough start.

Well put...see Tyler Bray.
Yes. Good comparison.
Mettenberger = A poor man's Ryan Mallett.
Mallett was never that good but he had a very talented OL and some of the best WRs in SEC history. Mallett also had 0 pocket awareness, was easily tricked by pass coverages, and had 0 athleticism. Mettenberger is all these things and worse.
Clint has much better hair, and would probably have a much better mustache if he was capable of growing one.
that was always my biggest problem with Sims. he had an arm, but couldn't see a pass rush heading his way. that's a recipe for fumbles and concussions
Agreed. Losing Faulk at left tackle has certainly done him no favors either. He has been under fire pretty much every time he drops back. What has surprised me is his inability to move within the pocket and step up. Also the LSU WR corps has lacked explosiveness as well.

His lack of mobility in the pocket is alarming. Of course his receivers, mainly Odell Beckam, aren't helping much either.
This is a big part of their "OL woes." Mett is almost completely incapable of sliding smoothly in the pocket.
I remember him failing to dive for a first down against AU and he just sort of fell into a crumpled ball. He failed to fall forward even the length of his body. I honestly can't think of a less athletic quarterback that I've ever seen.
