I foumd this little gem on the Botta Getta:14 hours ago via 247Sports Mobile
But if Chizik is retained then our anger will turn to them with demands to fire Gogue.
The idea that we will simply accept a decision to keep Chizik and carry on is laughable. There are plenty of us that will continue to flood Gogue's office with calls and emails daily if Chizik is retained. Honestly, a splash hire equal to Saban is the only thing that will allow Gogue to get back to working in peace. Anything less will force us to continue to express our anger
My question is who would be equal to Saban?
NOBODY! they are dreaming!!!!!
It's called Delusion and they are full of it.. Sad little Cult
Reminds me of the famous quote:
"You go by that and they'll have to fire us all." -- Former Auburn coach Shug Jordan on finding out that LSU coach Charlie McLendon had been fired for not being able to defeat Bear Bryant.
Cholly Mac is in the College Football Hall of Fame, and he was 137–59–7 at LSU (1962-79). One could make the argument that the program didn't finally return to that level until some guy named Saban was hired.

Yes, they should demand the resignation of a president for an institution of higher learning because their football team sucks. You know, because of God and family and all that.
"Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself." -Coach Bryant
The barn is giving God a bad reputation!
Jim Harbaugh or Pete Carroll are the only hires they could make that would get my attention.
Seems like only yesterday when Jim was hired.
IF IT FEELS GOOD,YOU AIN'T DOING IT RIGHT!
I remember when Cholly Mac was fired because he couldn't beat Bear Bryant. I remember the 21-7 game that Bama won in the early 70's and LSU had not cut the grass on the field hoping it would slow down our runners.
Bill Battle was undefeated in 49 states (not really) when Tennessee fired him. He could not beat Bama or da barn. Battle was 59-22-2. His replacement Johnny Majors was 116-62=8.

You're really pushing my memory now. But weren't Doug Dickey and Bill Battle together at Tennessee and then Doug Dickey left to go to UF and Bill Battle became the head coach at UT. As I remember it, both of them together at UT did really well but Bill Battle and Doug Dickey both got fired or removed as head coaches of their respective teams. I seem to remember that they did really well together as coaches for the same team but neither one did well as head coach of either UT or UF.
