If an ex-Bama head coach told about an ex-Bama player and assistant being the primary bagman in a massive pay for play scheme, I'd be shaking in my boots if Bama hired him back. But that's just me.
Well...just when it looked like Gus was gonna have a complete staff. That didn't include any former barners. He goes & brings in this guy. Hmmmmm

Lets see.... I believe but may be wrong, didn't he coach D Line for da dawgs? And we put up 350 through that line last game.... Yeah, good hire for the barn.
The title "Asst. Head Coach" seems meaningless if you can't even secure the job of coordinator along with it. No, he's assistant head coach and an assistant to his boss, the Defensive Coordinator.
He's never been known as a good coach. His focus is on bringing in the goods.
He is coming for recruiting only. Much like Trooper
Troopah was "Assistant Head Coach" as well, if that tells you anything. Garner is the original bagman.
Maybe...but we have an associate head coach who isn't a coordinator but is an assistant to his boss, Doug Nussmeier.
For those of us who ave been hit in the head too many times, remind us what happened please.
Terry Bowden spilled the beans and mentioned Garner by name as the bagman with their pay for play scheme that went on back in the 90's. Garner was straight up called out by name.
The Barn fans are nothing more then bottom feeders. They will take anything they can find and be happy with it.
This.^^^ Bowden also pointed out others but specifically mentioned Garner as the primary guy who paid out the most. There was a reason he left the barn and went to Tennessee back in the day, and it wasn't for a promotion, ala Jeremy Pruitt. I guess barners feel the statute of limitations has run out. That or he's a changed man due to Saint Mark's influence at UGA.
Thanks or the refresher. I couldn't remember the details.
we are talking about da Barn

every whistle blower has an ax to grind. otherwise, why would they be blowing the whistle? but i hear the kool-aid attacks the left side of the brain first, so the logical part of their brains are killed off instantly.
Business as usual down on the plains.
It just wouldn't be the barn without a supa troopa. We needed someone to pick up with the violations right where troopa left off. GREAT HIRE!
