Espn2 now. Set up in weight room. Pretty cool..
Cliffs please, at work.
Chris Fowler just said aj squatted 600lbs...
Talking a lot about aj and his leadership and maturation. saying that it may be up to AJ and the wide receivers to make a lot of big plays since we lost three ol... Kirk just said that he expects us to spread people out more this year
Saying cj will be anchor on defense and will be expected to be an every down lb.... cns coming on next...
Cns was ask about how to motivate a team after a big year he responded by basically saying its the same every year, follow the process, be consistent,no complacency....
they ask about the OL.. CNS basically said he is not worried about the position at all, guys have filled in nicely, he turned the attention to the defense where he said he was kind of worried about the defensive backs. he said guys have to step up when we lose first round draft picks every year haha
now they are asking him how to stop mobile quarterbacks, CNS said there have been several NFL coaches coming to him asking about how to stop kapernick (sp) and rg3. ... He explained it how he always does, saying you can't just blitz, you gotta play zone at the line and show different looks to confuse the qb.
Then he sounded awesome in explaining how the NFL should defend the new RG3 type quarterbacks. The guy is just head and shoulders above any of the other coaches. How can a 5 and 4 star DB not want to play for this man?

upvotes for your cliffs. thanks
Fowler asked about this years gatorade shower. he said that it looks like the players gently cascaded the Gatorade down Nicks back, and made sure not to hit him this year. Nick said last year, against LSU, it was funny because the players came to him and asked him if he was ready for the Gatorade shower.... And that's a wrap...
Saban when asked about the O-line by Herby:
'I really do think that the O-line has come along nicely, and I think we're gonna be OK there. We need to stay healthy and continue to develop chemistry, but we have 7 or eight players I think that are capable that can play and work nicely together.
I think the biggest concern to me is how do we do defensively. Because AJ is a good leader and a good quarterback and we have continuity there, good skill players, we still have good runners. But defensively in the secondary we continue to lose first round draft picks. For guys to continue to step up on a consistent basis is, I think, the biggest concern I have."
Wow, I take that as great news on the O-line. Sounds like his primary concern is in the secondary. Really need another quality corner to step up on the other side of Belue.

Translation: I just can't seem to keep any DBs on my team for longer than three years. They all get drafted in the first round after their Jr. season.
LOL, they asked him if he was ready for gatorade shower, love it. Appreciate the cliffs man!
