Just wandering ive been following recruiting for years and who do yall think is the biggest bust or at least failed to live up to their potential that yall have seen from all the recruits we have had
Hey Joey..Welcome to the round table. Gonna let the fellows chime in on busts. LOL But there have been a lot of them.

Thanks tim yes there have one of my favorite things to say is u can overfill the state of texas with cant miss prospects who missed lol
I was thinking for us but yes his name doea come to mind overall I remember really wanting rouse when he was coming out of highschool
For Bama, it's the kids who make the real stupid mistakes and get kicked off the team like J.Elder.
He never stepped foot on campus but I always think about LeBronski Hutchins just because I thought it was a cool name. I think it was grades. I know some guys who would say Chris Keys in recent memory, just knowing of how much talent he had.
Recruits in general. Fred Rouse is one. For me, it's Jimmy Clausen. For a guy called a decade prospect for a QB, he was pretty underwhelming IMO.

Jimmy Johns is got to be up there
IMHO I would say BJ SCOTT!! Maybe I'm wrong or maybe he had a different skill set then what we wanted/ needed at the time.. But to me he is a bust..BTW Willie Williams says hello
Reese Dismukes or whatever his name is.
Who was the receiver for LSU that was so fast? Xavier something. Classic example of a track guy trying to be a football player.
BJ Scott's non-success was partly a biproduct of being a "tweener" and not getting honed in at one position right off the bat.
Tyler Love is the real answer here. The guys priorities were beer and hanging around the frat houses.
Isn't BJ Scott going to play in the NFL? What a bust!
As has been discussed hundreds of times...BJ was huge- he was a big part of the 2008 class...really helped with Julio and others.
Personally, I hate threads like this that label Bama kids 'busts'....
Because they didn't live up to some silly recruiting service's expectations...
many times there are injuries involved. Oh well. I know...I dont' have to read this thread..
Oh well. Hope BJ Scott gets a shot in the League.
Yeah probably wasn't the nicest question but just got to thinking about how this class could end and sometimes those star ratings can get us excited gor nothing I know I have seen a lot of 3 stars turn out to be superstars here but tyler love did jump out had hoped he would have worked out
Interesting first post to say the least.
