i normally at least go there to get local news, but this might be it for me. no, i won't link it.
the key here is it's plastered on the front page in big letters.

Best thing I have ever done was to remove al.com from my bookmarks.
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
Is this about grayshirting? Not gonna give them the satisfaction of even reading it myself.
yeah, it's more crap about the philon recruitment. and it's on the front page in big letters "can alabama be trusted?". i've just had enough of it. they always plaster something anti-bama or pro-auburn as the headline. the morning after our victory in basketball, the stories were buried below other stories that no one would give a crap about. should have been the headline.
It was also in the Mobile Register. I support coach Saban in whatever he wants to do, and I would never question his decisions. I haven't ever seen state media so critical of the flagship university of any state, as it is of Alabama. The media in La would never criticize their beloved LSU, as the ala media does, I guess I just don't understand, why they want to destroy Alabama
Finebum laid the blueprint and the other trash follow.
The barn bias is of the charts.I have a friend that pissed everytime he reads it.We all need to boycott al.com and there pitifull fish wrappers.I'm ready to drop the Huntsville Times.
Stop reading it and they go away!
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4
Another hit piece. What is frustrating is how they conveniently ignore the facts and twist the story to make some point.
I've been boycotting both them and jox for a long, long time. I don't see why BAMA fans continue to read their garbage. It's trash! They ARE out to get Alabama. It's not a conspiracy. It's not tinfoil hat. It's fact. The proof is in the pudding.
O.K., why do Bama fans continue to buy and read the "newspapers?" I heard it all-crossword puzzles, (You can buy a book of them) coupons, (they are at the store and on-line) etc. I cannot think of a single reason to subscribe to them. I dropped both the B'ham News and the Montgomery Agrivator-Urinal several years ago and have not missed them at all. Why do Bama fans listen to sports talk radio? Put your favorite CDs in the car. Since I quit listening to those dolts, my blood pressure is down and I am a much happier person. So, I respectfully ask again, to please give me some valid reasons to read or listen to that junk. Thanks
This is absolutely and completely true. I live in the New Orleans area and the Times-Picayune is constantly pumping sunshine. I mean, if LSU sucks on the field, they'll own up to that, and will criticize Les for coaching things occasionally, but as far as negative behind the scenes stuff, it's buried.
It's different here vs. Alabama though. There is no segment of the population in Louisiana which literally hates LSU, whereas in Bama, there's a significant minority of Bama haters to please.
Josh Bean & Mike Herndon are getting us back for the crappy Yeldon headline they caught hades from back in December. Neither has the stones to go interview Coach Saban on this subject. Herndon is huge buddies with FSU coach Dameyune Craig as well. He & the paper refused to look into Craigs involvement with Casher's transfer from Faith to Davidson as well as his shady recruiting efforts in Mobile this past year. Bean is a cub reporter that does what Kennedy & the elder statesmen at the Mobile Paper tell him to do.
I think we underestimate the power of money and who owns these papers and "connections". Lowder is a pain in the arse and can't stand seeing his fav school being spanked like a red headed step child year after year after year.
I think al.com should be renamed barntimes.com or aubtribune.com.

unreal this title is horrible! I just read it and I am pissed at this guy
I read it and for some reason he asks the question if Bama should be trusted in the Mobile area fertile recruiting ground, but he interviewed coaches in the area (Mobile) and they say it wont hurt and its all good. But the writer (Josh Bean) still followed up with questions in the article...Even when he printed the answers from the Mobile area coaches, LOL. What a douche article.
