This is not a popular opinion but someone needs to reach out to this guy and persuade him to reach out to our staff. He is young and impressionable and he got sucked in by Trooper. This young man committed to us early so he had to have some desire to play here. i really dont care about the Yeldon speech or the tattoo. He was put up to this by Trooper in my opinion. If Trooper is gone he may Georgias by default. Saban and Smart could light a fire in this young man and he would be an absolute phenom.

Do you really want him that bad???? The kid got duped. That's a sign of poor up-bringing and character. Is what it is. Let it go. Let him be a poison to the barn and not us! Why do you think they are 3-9 with top ten recruiting classes? Seems obvious to me. Just saying..
dude needs to stay at au. JMO
I have no problem taking him back.
But our writers in the past have said there is some communication with Reub, but that the ball is in his court if he wants to get serious about coming to Alabama.
So it is really up to him if he wants to take a serious look at us.
I am fine with that. If he wanted back and our coaches had a spot for him, I would have no problem with it. That is the recruiting drama we have all got used to over the last 6 years.
I agree he might have had a bad upbringing but what is more admirable for us to give him a life lesson on becoming a man or just let him go on his way and stay on a path to a mediocre career or one where the sky is the limit? No flame just saying the other side of the story......
"Alabama isn't for everyone", that quote was invented for kids like RF.
Whoever signs him will be in an Albert Means situation...
Some people bring a knife to a gun fight. Mark Richt brings a Super Soaker 2000.
Sometimes there is a fine line between adolescent confusion and being just plain stupid.
As the saying goes things usually work out for the best...this kid for whatever reasons was just not the right fit for Bama...lets wish him well and move on and concentrate on the ones who bleed crimson and are hungry for success.

I hope none of yall are coaches or work in any field that involves working with kids or young men. He is a 17 year old kid who is easily influenced and especially easily influenced by an energetic SEC football coach (Trooper). The fact of the matter is that this kid needs a coach that he respects and is someone who is trying to help him accomplish his potential instead of trying to be his friend and do what not. If RF decides he wants to take this route instead of rolling the dice at AU then who in the hell are we to not support that?
