Yeah it's more like a weighted average than a running tally. And we're already so far up there that it's tough to make the average any better.

Not at all surprised by the source. I have an MS in Stats and was impressed at the level of sophistication.
Just another example of 247's superiority. There's another thread floating around about Scout's formula, which by comparison sounds like someone drew it up with crayons.
