Well.....I guess this little "franchise" thinks my statisical analysis aptitude and football evaluation acumen is "worthless".
In what I do currently and will be doing for the little "franchise"...... opinions/perspectives without support are meaningless...., and if I didn't know how to analyze matters and present the conclusions statistically....in an objective manner...they wouldn't be interested in me.

I've done human performance and S&C research (academic & practical at The Duke Coach K Nike Human Performance Lab) and applied it in training.
Your giving the example of a few athletic recruits from up North that defy my post is like my stating 'Jamacia has the fastest sprinters in the world'......and your saying I'm wrong because Tyson Gay and Walter Dix just beat Jamaica's 7th & 8th best sprinters.
People that take statements such as my post as 'absolute, all encompassing' comments tells me you really don't understand stats analysis.
As a numbers person, I'm all about efficiency... Meaning I'd rather get more output [quality recruits] for each unit of input [amount of time and miles involved in recruting].....meaning I'd rather spend my 1 hour free time at a school 'closer to me' that has 5 BCS Level recruits.... Rather than 5 hours traveling to a school with 1 BCS Level recruit.....especially when the recruits closer to me have played better competition in high school.
Efficiency matters.....especially when competing against other schools and time constraints.
