Cory Whitsett, US Open

Cory is in a playoff to gain the third and final spot out of his regional. It just so happens that he is facing Jordan Spieth of Texas.
Yup another UA-UT battle for a ticket to the US Open.

Still players on the course so the playoff has not started. Tune in to Golf Channel for coverage of all of the regional tournaments.
Also, Michael Thompson made it out of his, and so did Jason Bohn.

Also, remember what Cory went through yesterday. Messed up that chip on the last hole, then has to watch UT drain a birdie to clinch the National Championship.
Golf Channel has really talked him up, how mentally tough he must be to put that behind him in less than 24 hours.
