I think the question needs to be clarified. Are we talking the best WHILE AT ALABAMA or the best COLLEGE AND NFL CAREER? Those are two totally different things. He's only started one year and was critized most of the year as being the weak link on the team (justified or not). I like AJ, but I think it is way too premature to cast him as the best ever either way you ask the question. Let's see how things play out this year and then see if we still want to throw this question out for debate. To me this is like giving Obama the Nobel Peace Prize when he had just taken the office because he was expected to do great things.

not there yet but he will be. he matured between the lsu games so much. he has always had the talent now he has the confidence to perform at the highest level of competition in college football. he has moved from qb to team leader and a game changer.
I believe he may be considerd the best ever to wear the crimson and white, to early? maybe.
before someone brings up stabler namath starr I am talking about at this point in aj's career at the end of his soph year with a possible of two more years as a starter the sky is the limit.

AJ McCarron will be a first round draft pick and I think he'll have two rings before he leaves here. So yes, at least in my life time I believe he will be.
