worst package deal I can remember was Zach Maynard (KA's brother), Gabe King, and Keenan Allen. Not because KA didnt come here, but because Cal is 15-20 since they arrived and still sucks, not to mention they turned King into a 3rd string nose tackle in a 3-4 scheme. King was a 6'6" 250 lb DE manchild on the edge recruit and they jacked him up to 295 and put him in to occupy big nasty centers and guards. You think King is happy with the move? Nah. Maynard is a joke, plain n simple. His only solace is playing against weak defenses in practice and in Pac12. KA can play football, that much was obvious.

I thought it went something like it is forbidden or a violation if someone you know or are related to receives something of value with or without you knowing about it, based on where you choose to go to school.

Maynard received a 20k scholarship solely because of where his brother would choose to go to school.

I really am asking someone who would know, as I for sure do not.
