Per Mathews, auburn has enough talent at every position besides qb to compete for the SEC west and qb development will be the difference between winning the west and not winning it. Also, the defense is ready to get a lot better, because it has so much experience. Mark it.

I'm really surprised their long Snapper has not made the list; aren't they known accross the country as Long Snapper U.?

That is laughable. They will not even sniff any better than fourth in the West. I do see them a little improved, but hell, as bad as they were last year they can only improve. They still will not beat Ark, LSU or Bama in their own division. Can't win in the SEC without a QB and they don't have one.

Longsnapper is graduating and was one of the few aubs who got invited to the combine this year. Come to think of it, that might blow up their sure-fire SECW Championship season. Not really sure what they're going to do, since their Under Armour All-American longsnapper of the future is going to the Big House.

Did he seriously say that or are you mocking him? He is a Barner so it won't surprise me if he believes that. I always love how they think their triple digit ranked defense gets a year older and now they are magically elite with the same players.
Their D basically had a year of experience by the time they played us. Didn't stop AJ and Trent from taking what was left of their manhood.

It's not like he's a Julio or Blackmon type who just blows everyone off the field. He's an above average SEC WR, not a superstar. You telling me we don't have any of those on our roster? Doubtful.

Is he really even above average? The numbers don't bear it out. I'd call him "competent." By the standards of auburn's offense, I realize that sounds awesome, but I'm not buying it. He has done a pretty good job of fielding chronically-underthrown balls, but he is more Darius Hanks than Julio.
