- did the barn ditch the pro offense strategy? Looked like Malzahn was running things to me.
- how does any defensive recruit want to play for Clemson? (Much less the best recruit in the nation!?!?). They have been embarrassing on D for a while now. About to give up 650 yards to FSU. We would hold FSU to 1/3 of that.

I'm thinking that auburn has ditched the pro style and their qb "guru" is aiming for anything that will generate positive yards.

rainbow passes to the TE in the flat for some reason wasn't effective against a fast defense. who would've figured??

The only hope they had was to go wide. I expect we'll see the same.

Lutz has to be shaking his head this days. While opponent game plans key on him & Blake - I did not think his productivity would have fallen this much under the new AU OC. Surely, they could find ways to get him the ball more. I guess it is a matter of having the need for him to assist more with blocking for QB - but man he has been quite this year.

any team that resorts to that type of offence is saying " we know you are better, tougher than we are but maybe we can trick you". good defences play pretty much straight up the field, penetrate 3-4 yds deep in the backfield and any offence is blown up. neither of these teams can play with tide at this time. bama is better in all phases of the game on both sides of the ball and where it matters the most, the person in charge.

1. If au had a QB with just HS talent they would have won that game.
2. LSU has a QB with HS talent based on what I saw last night.

Also of note that they burned Wallace RS in this game. As it seems he will play the role that Frazier played last season. Short yardage "spread qb."
