My daughter plays soccer and softball. I played basketball through college and her mother played volleyball. I don't care what sport she plays but we did make her play 'our' sports at first and she just didn't have fun with them although usually the most athletic girl on the team. Can't twist her arm and make her enjoy it so I've become a huge soccer and softball fan.

Oh Geez, not chest thumping. No need to, just making a point that my kids will most likley be exposed to other sports. If they want to persue anything I will support and not push in any way. I know that works against kids and parents should be there to support. Saying I played or wife did is not saying look at me like most people here think, its just what I will be able to help with more. I am grateful that all that athletics gave me and Im not better then anyone else. you took comments out of context
