Danny Sheridan is an idiot

He completely downplays what AJ did in the NC game, saying he could have made the short throws AJ made, entirely overlooking the nice touch passes he made over the Honey Beeotch, then raves about Metternberger who has yet to play a game of big time football, and he bases this entirely on what he's been told. It takes a true moron to say a QB who has yet to play is better than one who just carved up one of the best defenses in recent history in the NC game.

Danny Sheridan favors LSU slightly over Alabama and USC going into 2012 season

National sports analyst likes Tigers quarterback Zach Mettenberger better than the Crimson Tide's AJ McCarron.

I think he has a problem with AJ. He is always taking a shots at AJ & IMO AJ is the best QB Alabama has had in a very long time. I also agree about him being an idiot.

I believe LSU loses at least 3 games this year. I don't think they will be over the NC beat down and it carries over into the season. And yeah, Sheridan is an idiot

I've said the very same thing ever since the conclusion of the NCG. I believe CNS derailed the LSU program. They went from "the best team ever" to "this is a mauling folks". Game over.

His comments on Mettengberger are interesting. He favors him over AJ even though he's never seen Zach play. He said "I've been told he's pretty good." Meanwhile, he says AJ's only job was to "not lose the game."
This just astonishes me. We could have Aaron Rodgers waiting in the wings, and everyone would label him a "game manager" before he ever took a snap. That's the new popular thing to say about Bama QBs and come off nuanced and knowledgeable.
When will people realize that we don't turn our QBs loose because we don't HAVE to? We blow everyone out not named LSU. And surely he saw the national championship game.

Place Sheridan and Brandeaux in the " I need to make you mad to be relevant " family. I use to like Timmy's basketball knowledge, but lately he's becoming a hack. I've never respected Sheridan, he's simply another member to Finebaum's provocative family, preying on the low IQ.
