No offense but a play in a game that we won by 5+ touchdowns can't really be the defining of the season. Unfortunately there wasn't one play made by Alabama that saved our season, it was really plays made or not made by other teams that allowed us to get into the NC game and allowed us to make our season a great one.

If you wanted to really boil it down it wasn't a single play that did it, but it was generally the same play in every game that did it, a missed field goal, ours against LSU in Tuscaloosa, OK states miss late in the game against Iowa State, Boise's miss against TCU, etc.

Mark Barren's interception at Penn State. Set the tone for the entire season!

Our team's "defining moment" this year was LSU's game winning field goal IMVHO.

When we ran out of the tunnel against Kent State. Everyone else could have hung it up at that point.

I vote for the UF asskicking as well. Very impressive after how berserk that place was at first.

I'll go with a little bit different one. When Shelly knocked down the long field goal right before the half against LSU in the NC game, I believe that game took on a different feel.

I dont think it was a play...it was the way we took the field in NCG (all business)..I wish i was in the locker room before the game

I think the beauty of this season was how we completely dominated people (other than the 6-9 loss to LSU). The closest game other than that was 24-7 over Miss. State.

Much different from 2009, where we had two big moments (FG block to beat Tennessee, Drive to beat Auburn)

for some reason, this season was more fulfilling even though we lost one and I'm not really sure why.... probably because of the redemption factor in New Orleans.

In 2009 mine has to be the tip toe job that McElroy had against UF in the SECCG. I think that play just justified the detirmination of that team. This past season I always think about Trent's run against Ole Miss, or the flea flicker v. Auburn.
