"BINGO! That was a goody!" - Coach Bryant on Sunday afternoons with Coca Cola & Golden Flakes
The Dynasty is Here!
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
Like other posters have said, I expect to see a lot of improvement from both Hubbard and Dickson next year. It seems like DL and OLB are positions that are difficult for young players to be overly productive. Sure, there are a few freaks like Clowney out there, but generally the best DL and OLBs tend to be upperclassmen. Mark Anderson, Wallace Gilberry, Upshaw, Chapman, and even Darius took some time to develop and really didn't come on strong until their Jr or Sr years. Given their production so far this year and the fact that both Hubbard and Dickson are just sophs, I think it's safe to say we'll see big things from them in the next year or two. I really think our pass rush will be markedly improved next year.
Also, I'm hoping Ryan Anderson can step up and get in the rotation at Jack. That might allow Devall to move over to Sam and rotate with Hubbard.
