It seemed to me that our defense didn't move around or audible as much pre-snap. Maybe that was due to the fact that LSU was snapping the ball too fast or not calling audibles at the line themselves. But I always thought one of the strengths of our defense was our ability to get into the right play at the line of scrimmage and our ability to confuse the offense by changing the look at the last minute.
Anyone have any thoughts about that?
trying to mask the blitz killed us bc the blitz never got there in time and our DBs were not covering well. Felt like we couldn't stop anything in the 4th quarter until LSU's last drive
I believe it was because they were going up tempo and running power type sets that kept us in base most of the night. Really a great gameplan by LSU and like many on here have pointed out, the only team that can really attack us this way. I do believe if we could have stuffed their run for a few series and got off the field, then they would have abandoned it.
