A Florida State buddy just text me and said they're insiders are saying Dixon to Florida State. Don't shoot the messenger just passing along info and yes I did see someone had this on the board the other day

It's probably true. Something hasn't been right with or recruitment of him lately.

Why would anyone want to go to FSU?
I mean they are on par with Texas on the list of teams that do less with more.

The ONLY reason he would go elsewhere is if we pass on him.
Now with Belue a take and Sylve transitioning well Dixon doesn't seem like the huge need he once was, IMO

Thanks, it seems to me like we've passed for whatever reason and he's just scrambling to his second or third choices. There was reports out that Dan Mullen had put out a lot of doubt with him that we were bringing in Belue to start and that caused a lot of apprehension on his part.
Can't wait to hear the real story from you guys. If I had a gun to my head I would say we have passed because of either grades or limited spots and Belue and Sylve Progressing well.

This sux--what is it these kids see in these under-achieving programs in the ACC? If he goes it just means they have promised him immediate playing time and that's more important than playing for a NC I guess

Odd post, like I said the only way he ends up elsewhere is if we moved on.

QD tweeted that McCullers is the biggest guy he has ever seen and he is only 19. That is about all ive heard.

Dixon was a very big get for the staff...but the catch was that he would graduate in time to join the team in January. Lucky will fill us in, but I think it has got to something to do w/him possibly not graduating in time. If anything there might be some similarities with this and Duron's situation regarding transferral of grades.
But until the fat lady sings, or Lucky types, then I'm holding out hope we can still get him.
