Staff or BAMAMANAGER. Who do you think the staff has rated higher? Is this a case of whoever commits first, or do you think the staff has a preference?

Would love to land the #1 recruit in-state again, but this time MLB will land him. I personally prefer Kiel regardless of the Elite 11 results. He has a strong-arm and is 100% committed to football. It would be impossible to win the #1 QB job at BAMA while never going through spring practice.

I will admit last year I felt very comfortable in landing Winston. I think his heart is in T-town, but it is hard knowing for a kid with his talent that our staff has someone from Ind. or anywhere else ranked above the in-state 5* QB. And remembering back to being a teenager, more years than I care to admit, but it would have been hard to hear that my dream school wanted someone more than me. It is a lesson that is learned later in life by most and too late for others.

I wish JW the best of luck wherever he lands. He is a great kid with unlimited talent. I would love to get him and Kiel, but that is a dream. In the past with unlimited # of committs, CNS would have convinced JW to sign with BAMA and use it as insurance and leverage against MLB. CNS did this very thing in 2008 with Baron's teammate and would do it again in a heartbeat. The #'s game has hurt our chances with JW more than F$U or anyone else in my opinion.

I also remember last season Ragland, Alexander, and JW all visiting together and planning on attending the same college together. We have Ragland and I expect to get Alexander too. Would have loved to get the three, but as I have learned in recruiting and life, seldom to we get everything we want.
