Nah. That kid loves Bama and you could just tell from all his interviews that he was all Bama. Im suprised it took this long for him to commit. He was a 99% lock in my book.

I've followed his twitter feed (mainly because his name is so unusual) but he is a really down to earth, polite and thoughtful kid. He has some funny tweets too. Just seems like an all around great person. Seems pretty religious also.

But to address what the original poster said, I don't think he committed solely because of a numbers thing. But I do think there is an "awareness" that there are only so many schollies to go around.

But Altee has known where he's wanted to go since 2010.

My guess is the numbers that influenced him are 1500 yards, 2 out of 3 years heisman finalists, and 2 out of 3 National Champions.

I think what the OP may mean is that we may only take 1 RB this year w/ the stable that is already on campus.

I agree we have a stable full of elite guys but I dont see how we dont take two rbs since theres so many good ones out there. But ya it will probably have to be another one of the elite guys.
