ESPY nominations to be announced Wednesday night

  • If Alabama isn't up for team of the year, there's something seriously wrong.

The Miami Heat will up for it as well, because they always seem to have a short memory on a lot of awards.
    Giants? Cardinals? Kentucky Wildcats?

My guess is another finalist/nominee will be Baylor women's basketball.

  • JMO but I think the UK wildcats will be a runaway fav for that award. Domination and look at what the team was. All 5 players will be drafted most in the 1st round. Maybe I am wrong but that is crazy to think about.

Depends on how winners are selected...Bama has the "for Tuscaloosa" thing going for it AND you'd hate to annoint UK team of the year, then word leaks out (again) that something shady was going on with Calipari's team (that he didn't know about of course)...

I agree. They were dominant, were the #1 overall seed in the tourney, had the best player in the game, and won the national title with relative ease. They are my guess for the award. We definitely deserve a nomination but my guess is we don't win because we lost a game/didn't win our conference or division even.
