Eating in New Orleans..

Where are some of the places you guys will be eating at in New Orleans?? Also, what bars will be popular with Bama fans?? I know that the Rusty Nail will be having a big party, but didn't know if there were any others as well.. Safe travels to all and Roll Tide!!

only reservation i have is Mr. B's on Royal for sun nite but i will plan to go by the Rusty Nail and eat at some random places, hard to get bad food in NOLA. RTR!!!

You are right about that!! Tons of great places to eat.. We were talking about it last night during the awards show and we couldn't make up our minds.. Good thing we have a few weeks to figure it out!!

Commanders Palace is great.

Booked all weekend. I tried for reservations the other day. Only reservations I have are for Muriel's. Check out open table to see what is still accepting reservations and the reviews are generally pretty reliable.

I've never been to Franky and Johnny's and Mother's. Definitely want to hit up both.

Sunday brunch at superior grill. Best breakfast burrito in the world, in the garden district with lots of tvs but a pretty nice place. Indoor outood seating

It is out of the French Quarter area, but to me, Commander's Palace is the best of the best.

We go to New Orleans a lot and some of our favorites are:
Mr B's (absolute favorite)
Palace Cafe (some same menu items as Commanders but casual and cheaper. On Canal)
Cresent City Grill (Not tourist resturant, old local steakhouse that is great)
Mortons Steakhouse (in Marriot- Team Hotel)
Disire (Good red jambalya, best bread pudding)
Court of two sisters (Great Sunday Jazz Brunch- $40-$50)
Red Fish Grill
The old Smith and Wolinsky's is now Walk On's. Sports theme similar to Bahmhowers Wings. Great place to watch a game but probably not this one. Heard today that if the Saints keep winning they would be playing at home either Sat or Sun. Probably be to crazy to get in there.
