Ed Christian has been shot?

Don't know if true but rumors on twitter and a post on the Auburn site say OL Ed Christian has been shot. There are unconfirmed reports he passed away. Put football aside and please pray for this young man and his family.

My friend from auburn lives right across the street from the shooting. He said it was very bad and it's not looking good for Ed Christian. Horrible news keep them in your prayers.

He said a huge fight started Christian was trying to break it up and had it pretty much stopped when shots were fired... Saying Christian has passed and Lad Philips in bad shape as well.

My stars...I don't care who they play for. Nobody deserves that, at least not over a petty college squabble. We can only hope that the other two pull through and the shooter is brought to justice.

Having said that, AU players have a recent history of putting themselves
in compromising positions. If that turns out to be the case here, AU will
have leaped way up the list on the 2012 Fulmer Cup standings.

Apparently both Christian and Phillips had left the team since last season... and now both are supposedly being confirmed as having passed. Just terrible news.
