no they did not...Star was seen as a cant miss guy..When Lugenbill called him a project on the Finebaum show he received death threats...Tyler Wilson was seen as a guy who might be a decent consolation signee if we lost Star...

Word is that after Keil chose Indiana we moved on. That Keil let it be known after he decommitted from Indiana that he was interested in us again and we didn't express interest back at that point.

What ever ED! I clearly missed the updates of this "can't miss" prospect! He was always a project qb in my eyes.

What I kept hearing was that when he camped at Bama he was ranked 3rd behind Winston @1 and Keil @2. IIRC the staff alluded to this as well. I don't take it as necessarilly he was the 3rd option on our offer list but more that he was ranked as the 3rd best to camp at Bama. At least that's my understanding.

You are a complete fuktard if you thought star Jackson was a cant miss prospect. He was very raw and a mid to low 4 star. Clearly that turned out to be too generous
