Favorite CFB Announcers for SI guys...

Some pretty good reading from SI CFB guys concerning their likes/dislikes when it comes to CFB announcers. They do a poor job of describing how they feel about Craig James.

I've never heard Gus Johnson. Is he one of those guys who yells and screams a lot? Does he tend to hyperbolize plays that are above average? I'm not being sarcastic but am interested. Perhaps I can check out some youtube vids which is what I think I think I'll do after typing this.

He's not too bad. Better than I thought. He's a good sounding voice, calls a good play by play as well. As long as doesn't yak non-stop he may escape the mute button.
