Hi Red...Tell her welcome aboard....I'm Kathy from Panama City Beach,FL...formerly known as "crimsonbamakathy" on BOL. I would LOVE for more women to join BOL. I absolutely can't wait to read this everyday. Some of my greatest "laughs" are from the hilarious comments from the guys...I just love it. It's also where you can get great, great up to date info on our Crimson Tide. As you know the staff is amazing. Of course, we women have to put up with all the semi-porn photos..HA HA HA HA HA!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

Female here. I've been a member who followed BOL from rivals. This is the only thing that gets me through work some days. My co-workers are constantly amazed by my football knowledge (I work in North Carolina). If you are a woman and you start talking about things like a 3-4 defense, Mike linebackers, and a bubble screen, men start to pay you more attention!

female & in & definitely not 13-17; I was at "punt bama punt" with my dad at age 7! He was so proud when I got into a fight with an Auburn fan (adult male)

Love your post. I remember that game…2 Bama friends (girls) listened with me. (Only on the radio…no TV in our small town had the game) After the game, we got in a fight with our 1 Barn friend.

My older brothers taught me all about football, and instilled in me the pride of being an Alabama fan. There is nothing like it!

That was back in the time when Bama could only be on tV 5 times in 2 years. There would be one year that we could be on TV 2 times (excluding a bowl appearance.) and the next year we could be on TV 3 times. I can't tell you how many times during 70s that I listened the games on the radio. And yes, I listened to every game on the radio from teh 70s until I could watch them on TV.

Another female here. My guy friends often ask me questions about Bama football because I follow it more closely than they do. I mostly post about women's sports (basketball and softball), but love all Bama sports. I personally would welcome more women here.

I may be wrong, but I thought he meant many of the posts on BOL in general. A good bit of it seems like young girls are posting. Again, I may be the one who's mistaken....
