Getting and studying game film is crucial for success. I'm sure that comes as a shock to everyone on this board! This topic reminded me of my father, who coached high school football from before I was born in 1964 until he passed away in 2011. Some of my earliest memories are of him watching game films and stopping the projector, rewinding the film and starting it back until he saw what every player was doing on every play in every game. He would then diagram plays for my mother while sitting at the kitchen table.
